The Syracuse Spartans are part of the New York Collegiate Baseball League, which is partially funded by Major League Baseball. Founded in 2017, the Spartans are a non-profit organization that aims to bring family-friendly entertainment to Central New York while developing the best collegiate baseball players in the nation. The Spartans also aim to make a positive change in the Central New York community.
