SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse Spartans players David Bedrosian and Zach Kemp were named NYCBL Player and Pitcher of the Night respectively for the games on June 24. Both players had stellar nights against the Sherrill Silversmiths on Thursday Night in a 12-2 win for the Spartans.

Bedrosian made his Spartans debut last night, joining the team as an additional outfielder. He immediately went to work, going 3-3 at the plate with a double and three RBIs. The Pomona-Pitzer College player also walked twice and scored two runs to lead the Spartans offensive surge against the Silversmiths.

Kemp improved in his third start for the Spartans, throwing a quality start for the win. The Wells College right hander went 6.0 innings with no walks and three strikeouts.
