The Syracuse Spartans announce the first of their new players to join the roster for the 2021 season as Patrick May joins the Spartans.

“We are very excited to get Pat with us this summer,” said Spartans Head Coach Matt Michalski. “The May brothers are mentally tough dudes who are always looking to get better and are not afraid to put in the work. Pat is a tremendously athletic player and is having a solid first season with Monroe CC. Looking forward to getting the May brothers taking care of the left side of the infield.”

May joins his brother, Anthony, who is returning to the Spartans for a second season. Patrick is currently in his freshman season at Monroe Community College, where he is batting .390 in 15 games. He has batted in 11 runs and stolen five bases, tied for second on the team. The May brothers are natives of Baldwinsville and attended C.W. Baker High School.
