The Syracuse Spartans get ready for their second full season at Onondaga Community College’s Baseball Complex with 17 home dates.

The Spartans start the season on Wednesday, June 8 with Challenger Baseball Night. Syracuse will welcome Syracuse Challenger Baseball to OCC. Spartans players will play catch with the Challenger Baseball players before the game and take the field with Challenger Baseball players. The Spartans and Challenger Baseball will also hold a pre-game ceremony to honor the memory of Cee Cee Andrew, a photographer for both the Spartans and Challenger Baseball who sadly passed away in January this year.

The Spartans invite people to come to the field and enjoy the holidays during the summer season. Syracuse plays on Fathers Day on June 19 and invites all fathers to the field to spend some time with their families. The Spartans also play on July 4 and invite all to celebrate the Independence Day at OCC.

The schedule also features three doubleheader dates on June 15, June 22 and July 2. Those doubleheader games are two seven-inning games and will start at 5:00 pm.

All other home games are set to begin at 7:00 pm. Fans who cannot make it to OCC can watch the Spartans at home on their TV sets on Amazon Fire or Roku by tuning into the NYCBL Digital Network. Fans can also watch online at syracusespartans.com/watchlive.

The Spartans start their fifth season in the NYCBL in 2022.
