The Syracuse Spartans traded blow for blow with the Rochester Ridgemen but couldn’t quite keep up as the Spartans lost 18-11 at Rochester.

Both teams traded runs in the first three innings. The Spartans struck first with RBI doubles from Sammy Lee and Jaren Megan. Rochester scored three in the second but Syracuse struck back with two runs in the third.

An Oliver Merced RBI single grabbed a run back in the sixth but the Ridgemen took two more runs in the bottom of the inning. Both teams traded runs in the eighth to conclude the scoring.
