The Syracuse Spartans dropped out of the first round of the NYCBL Playoffs with a loss to the Rochester Ridgemen 11-1 to end the 2024 season.

Tyler Campbell provided a spark for the Spartans first with a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to give Syracuse an early lead. Spartans starting pitcher Luke Boule kept Rochester off the scoreboard for the first five innings. However, Rochester scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth to take full control of the game.

Rochester gathered two more runs in the bottom of the seventh and bottom of the eighth to take the 11-1 advantage into the ninth and closed out the game.

The Spartans end their seventh season in the NYCBL.
